The SCRIP program, is managed by the Parents’ Club. Participation in the scrip program is required for all families at VCS. SCRIP is a no-cost fundraiser for VCS. We purchase gift cards and certificates at a reduced price, then sell them at full face value to our families. Discount percentages change but range between 2%-20%. The difference between the discounted purchase rate and the face value provides funding for school programs. Each family is required purchase scrip providing $100 in profit. You may “opt out” from participating by paying $100 to the SCRIP program. Friends and relatives may also purchase scrip through Visitation and get credit toward your $100 goal. Amounts earned in excess of $100 will earn your family a rebate. Rebates are split 50/50 with your family and the parents' club and can be used to purchase more scrip, applied towards tuition or donated back to parent's club.
